I’ve been working outside since I was ten.
Most of my background is in agriculture: small- and medium-scale vegetable production, and cow, sheep, and goat dairying. I’ve worked on farms and homesteads in New York, Connecticut, Tennessee, France, and Sweden.
More recently, I spent several years stewarding a Forever Wild Forest Preserve in a New York City urban park, focusing on native ecology, successional restoration, and public access to green space.
I hold a BA in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
